About the Project

An interior designed for a bachelor with a love for flowers, cats, and women. This is not the first time our team has created a space for a single client. The apartment is located in Saratov, in the Volga Sky residential complex, on the 32nd floor, with a total area of 60 m².

Layout

In its original state, the apartment included a separate bathroom and an isolated bedroom, while the kitchen-living area was also separated from the entrance. After a full demolition, the layout was reconfigured to include a bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, while the entrance, kitchen, and living area were combined into a single open space. The bedroom was visually connected to the main area through a glass partition.

A minimal number of solid walls allows the creation of a comfortable open-plan space despite the compact size. The glass partition provides separation for the bedroom while maintaining lightness and continuity.

The main space is elongated and divided into three zones: the entrance area, subtly separated by a light partition that also marks the beginning of the kitchen, and the living area.

Upon entering, the view opens directly towards panoramic windows overlooking the city and the Volga. It was important to preserve this perspective without blocking it with heavy zoning elements.

Concept

The interior is defined by simplicity and clarity of form, a connection to nature, and the use of natural materials in an earthy palette. Textiles, warm wood, noble marble, raw stone, and concrete come together to form a cohesive environment.

Wood dominates the wall and ceiling finishes, complemented by natural stone and decorative plaster.

The key material in the interior is natural stone, which introduces a sense of strength and character. In the bedroom, it is combined with large plants and a black leather headboard. The stone wall is highlighted with concealed lighting to emphasise its texture, along with track lighting and adjustable spotlights.

Stone is also used in the bathroom, particularly in the shower area, creating a strong connection to natural elements. Black sanitary fittings, a glass partition, and the clean geometry of the washbasin add a sense of restraint and a refined, hotel-like atmosphere.
