About the Project
Yula is a family café located in a residential area of Saratov. The space is light-filled, with large windows, while textile zoning provides flexibility and adaptability.
For this project, a bright and active colour palette was chosen, which is not typical for our studio. After studying the target audience and the concept of the venue, we decided to introduce насыщенные colours as part of the interior strategy.
Layout
The layout of Yula café is organised around an open and light-filled space. A large number of windows makes the interior visually spacious and clearly visible from the street, which is important for a family café in a residential neighbourhood.
The main area is designed to accommodate different types of visits, from short stops to longer stays with children. Zoning is achieved through textiles, allowing the space to be easily adjusted and adapted to various scenarios.
The layout remains simple and flexible, ensuring комфортное use throughout the day and intuitive navigation for guests of all ages.
Concept
Yula is conceived as a neighbourhood café, rooted in everyday life. The aim was to create a space that feels open, welcoming, and lively from the first impression. Large windows and a bright interior make the café visible and inviting from the street.
The concept is centred around colour. For this project, we deliberately moved beyond our usual restrained palette and introduced bold, насыщенные tones. This approach reflects the character of the place and its audience — family-oriented, dynamic, and diverse.
